Congratulations to the YAP Cork team whose entry into the annual “Let’s Talk about Drugs” National Media Awards Film Feature category won second place. The group’s entry into the category for young people aged 12-14 years was also shortlisted for the “Let’s Talk About Drugs” National Media Awards Overall Winner Prize.
Winners for each of the categories in the media awards sponsored by the Greater Blanchardstown Response to Drugs (G.B.R.D.), the Drugs.ie, Crimestoppers, Health Service Executive, Department of Health and the Irish Examiner were announced on Wednesday 25th September at a ceremony in the Ashling Hotel attended by Guest of Honour Minister of State for Primary Care, Alex White TD.
The prize awarded to the Cork project was an android tablet, a glass trophy and a certificate marking their achievement. A full list of winners and the videos can be found at www.irishexaminer.com or www.drugs.ie
