This November, Cork Tusla showcased Good Practise in Child and Youth Participation at an event in Pairc Ui Chaoimh. YAP Ireland were in attendance, with a stand on the day to display all the great work done by staff and advocates.
Our young people Shannon and Leah attended the participation Event in Pairc Ui Chaoimh, to represent the young people in the Cork Participation Group and their commitment to Participation.
The young people were supported by Advocate Claudia O’Keefe, Service Manager Donna Brazier and Independant Mental Health Advocate Danielle O’Sullivan.
The day was filled with singing, dancing and young people and professionals talking about the importance of the young person and child’s voice.
