“We had a great day meeting the Lord Mayor. I was excited to visit City Hall and it was a great opportunity to see where it all happens. Lord Mayor, Catherine Clancy, was a lovely woman and very welcoming. She was excited to answer some of our questions before inviting us to see the Lord Mayors chambers where she answered more of our questions and explained the history of her chambers and Cork. She was also very supportive of young people and our project of young people as citizens. I was proud to present the Lord Mayor with a YAP t-shirt as a thank you for meeting with us and she invited us to attend a council meeting in the future which we look forward to attending.”
