Chief Executive for Life Without Barriers, Claire Robbs and Deirdre Thompson, Director of Client Services had a very successful visit to YAP Ireland in Dublin this week as part of a two week study tour, visiting Ireland, Scotland and the United States to research Youth Advocate Programs Inc. (YAP), an international leader in community-based services for children involved in the juvenile justice, child welfare and mental health systems. The focus of the international research tour was to examine the possibility of bringing the successful community-based support programme to Australia.
