The Cork Young Peoples Participation group came together with the Parents Group to come up with the idea of PAY IT FORWARD as a great way to create Social Change. The young people were involved in developing a really nice tool-kit type flyer that folds into pocket size so that it could fit into a wallet. The flyer was presented by the Cork Parents and Young Peoples participation groups at the 2017 YAP Annual Conference – Young People Speak Out – How Can I Bring About Change.
The young people were also involved in creating some artwork, a video and other projects for their PAY IT FORWARD theme. The hope was that by Paying it Forward, if Everybody does a little bit for each other, your communities will become a little brighter and your world becomes a little better.
