YAP Dublin Participation 2018
We are delighted to announce that YAP Ireland has been awarded the Investing in Children membership award for 2018 for the 4th year in row! The award recognises imaginative practice and the active inclusion of children and young people in dialogue that leads to change. The assessments, which took place late last year, involve talking to young people directly to hear their thoughts on the services they receive.
Thank you so much to Elena who brought in a special handmade 3D Christmas card to the Dublin office this morning. She wanted to say thanks for everything YAP has done for her daughter this year.
This is a day for children, by children, all over the world to help save children’s lives, fight for their rights and help them fulfil their potential. It's about lots of events all over Ireland celebrating this.
YAP Cork Young Peoples Participation Project
Paying it Forward. The Parents, with the help of Young People and Advocates in YAP Cork have developed a really nice tool-kit type flyer.
Our parent participation group came in for a festive Christmas breakfast this morning, tempting all of us in the Dublin office with the smell of a fry up and some Christmas tunes!
