When Tina* (10) was referred to YAP she lived with her mother and little sister in homeless accommodation in Dublin city. Her mother had struggled with addiction issues for the last 15 years. The advocate started working with the family last August, initially building up the relationship and trust.
Congratulations to Young Person Jessica on taking part in Malahide's Got Talent on Sunday night. Jessica did fantastic and definitely has a future in singing. Also thanks to her advocate Christine for supporting her to pursue this and getting her enrolled in a number of different competitions. You can see a picture of Jessica in action attached.
